The Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, has today conducted an inspection of the Kikatiti Police Station, which was damaged during the violent incidents that occurred on 29 October 2025 in Arusha Region.

Arusha, Tanzania — 30 November 2025

The Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba, has today conducted an inspection of the Kikatiti Police Station, which was damaged during the violent incidents that occurred on 29 October 2025 in Arusha Region.

While addressing residents of the area, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu urged the public to remain vigilant against individuals with ill intentions who seek to incite violence and destroy both public and private infrastructure. He emphasized that such actions undermine national peace, security, and development efforts.

The Prime Minister is in Arusha Region for a field tour aimed at assessing the extent of damage caused by the October 29 disturbances and to provide government direction on restoration and strengthening of security mechanisms.

Hon. Dr. Mwigulu was accompanied during the visit by the Regional Commissioner of Arusha, Mr. Amosi Makalla, along with other regional security and government officials.
